Description

Deep magenta lilies with layered petals unfold against a soft pink ground, their stems and buds rendered in naturalistic green and brown tones. The composition captures the flowers at different stages of bloom, arranged with botanical precision and a delicate watercolor sensibility that suggests 19th-century botanical illustration.
